All botanists and plant scientists are invited to come along for a blether and a bevvy, hosted by the Botanical Society of Scotland and the Institute of Molecular Plant Sciences (UoE). Hundreds, maybe thousands of us in the Lothians & Fife spend our lives working with plants, and though we are the friendliest of souls, we rarely get together socially. We are changing that !!!
The Wash Bar is just uphill from Waverley Station, in the centre of Edinburgh and, as it happens, in the very tenement building where philosopher David Hume lived. So join us for some plant enlightenment. Drinks, coffee and snacks can be purchased from the downstairs bar. Drop in and meet others!
