News: Plant Pub is now to be a regular monthly event

The first Plant Pub was a great success, attracting 60+ people during the evening, so we have decided to make this a regular event on the 2nd Thursday of every month (except January 2025).
There are hundreds of people across Edinburgh who study or work with plants. We want to bring this community together and build connections across different disciplines in an informal setting. Make new friends, learn something new, find out the best spots to go plant hunting, forge new ideas. We welcome everyone who has a connection to plants to come to the Wash Bar for a drink and a blether. Please help us in spreading the word and bringing together as many people in our community as possible.
The Wash Bar is just uphill from Waverley Station, in the centre of Edinburgh and, as it happens, in the very tenement building where philosopher David Hume lived. So join us for some plant enlightenment. Drinks, coffee and snacks can be purchased from the downstairs bar.
