‘The halcyon days’ is a new participatory arts project from ghostbag, an Edinburgh-based experimental arts company. The project will offer a curated process through which to think about the climate crisis, through music and movement outside in nature.
The project is part of Hidden Door Festival which is this year taking place in the old cardboard factory on Turnhouse Lane ‘the halcyon days’ will lead a group of festival goers off-site to participate in some movement and dancing in the field we will be surveying.
The more we know about the ecology of field the better. The information we discover on Saturday will feed into the whole project on lots of levels. We will share our knowledge with the participants, which will enable them to connect more strongly and meaningfully with the location.
