Towards 900 Plants

What: This will be a botanical field day as part of the Edinburgh 900 celebrations. We know that Edinburgh is home to over 900 wild plants (more than that are listed on iRecord), so our field day is called ‘Towards 900 plants’. The Centre’s Classroom has been booked as a hub from which to carry out botanical walks. Depending on how many people register interest we would aim to split into separate groups to cover different areas of the Park, and we will see how many plants we will find between us. There is usually paid parking available in the Holyrood Car Park, but restrictions may apply. Please use public transport, if possible.
