Foraging walk and taster picnic, Craigmillar Park
Monday 05 May 10:00 – 14:00 — Meet at Bridgend Farmhouse
Leader: Nenya Milne
We will go on a foraging walk and then enjoy a pre-prepared taster picnic (with soup, bread, pie, and salad) and hand out recipes. Food will be vegetarian, with vegan and gluten-free elements.
Children are welcome, and well-behaved dogs on leads.
Please wear weatherproof clothes and sturdy footwear and bring some bags for collecting foraged plants and gardening or rubber gloves for nettle picking. Please also bring your own picnic equipment – cup, bowl, plate & cutlery + rugs if you need them.
Donations of £2- £5 per adult for additional ingredients will be appreciated. Children free. The Bridgend Café will be open for food and shelter.
You MUST register in advance so we can cater for the right number of people. Registration LINK
